High quality, solid sterling silver shell (approx 25mmx12mm), cast from a real sea shell from our local beach.
The glowing gold inside is 24K gold Keum Boo thick foil; this is an ancient technique which bonds the gold layer to the silver metal. It is not thin gold leaf or paint.
The deep black patina on the backside of the shell has been carefully polished and heat applied for greater colour depth and longevity.
You can make a stunning pendant by adding it to your own chain, or buy it complete as a gold rope chain necklace or drop earrings.
