High quality, solid sterling silver shell (approx 25mmx12mm), cast from a real sea shell from our local beach.
The glowing gold inside is 24K gold Keum Boo thick foil; this is an ancient technique which bonds the gold layer to the silver metal. It is not thin gold leaf or paint.
A lightweight delicate 9ct gold rope chain (45cm long) with rolled gold bolt ring clasp ensures that the shell is set off to maximum advantage.
You can make a stunning matching set with the gold drop earrings.
